Auditions: "Little Shop of Horrors" at Center for the Arts Bonita Springs

The Center for the Arts Bonita Springs Teen Theater program will hold auditions for "Little Shop of Horrors" from 5-7 p.m. Dec. 16 & 18.

Auditions are open to students age 13-21. Be prepared to sing a song and read from a script. Call (239) 495-8989 to schedule an audition time.

Rehearsals are 5-7 p.m. MWF and selected Saturdays. Performances are February 21 & 22. "Little Shop" will be the inaugural teen performance in the organization's New Performing Arts Center.

I know a couple of your students had expressed interest in auditioning for this show, Please have them call for a time between 5-7pm on Dec. 16 or 18. They will need to have 16 bars of a song prepared with or without music. Will have a cd and stereo with MP3 hook-up for them if they have music with no lyrics for backing tracks only. They can also sing Happy Birthday to Me. They will learn a short and simple dance routine with a group of 5 actors and read a scene from the script. Rehearsals will be Monday, Wednesday and Fridays 5-7pm and some Saturdays. Performances are February 21 & 22, 2014 at 7pm and 2pm.No Monologues necessary. If you can post this notice in the Drama room or email  that would be great. This is our first Teen Performance (13-21 yrs.) and our first youth production in the New Performing Arts Center!
