BIG ARTS Herb Strauss Theater unwraps its original Christmas revue "Holiday Spectacular" on Dec. 19. The show will be co-written, co-directed and co-choreographed by Bobby Logue and John Ramsey. Spread the Joy This Season with Holiday Spectacular
The Musical Review will be at Herb Strauss Theater December 19 to 31

Sanibel, FL (December 10, 2013) – BIG ARTS Herb Strauss Theater is celebrating the season with the original production, Holiday Spectacular. Co-written, directed and choreographed by Herb Strauss Theater Production Manager, Bobby Logue, and popular local performer, John Ramsey, the musical review will showcase an array of holiday classics, such as All I Want For Christmas Is You and a rock-n-roll version of Jingle Bells.

Logue and Ramsey have performed in several Herb Strauss Theater productions over the years, including Ramsey’s recent turn as Sir Robin in Monty Python’s Spamalot and as Frankie in Plaid Tidings, Forever Plaid last season. In addition to Logue and Ramsey, theater patrons may recognize the other cast members, Sami Doherty, Annie Freres and Jessica Humphrey as well as Elizabeth Urbanczyk, who starred as The Lady of the Lake in Monty Python’s Spamalot and Betty Jean in the Marvelous Wonderettes last season.

All of the opening night performances at also include a pre-show reception from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Adding even more value to the excitement of the opening nights, the Starfish Grille has signed on as a marketing partner for the 2013-2104 season and will provide the catering for all of the opening night pre-performance receptions at Herb Strauss Theater. In addition, the Starfish Grille is also offering a complimentary dessert at the restaurant when you present your Herb Strauss Theater ticket envelope from any performance of the 2013-2014 season.

Tickets to Holiday Spectacular are $35 for adults. Tickets are only $5 each for students with valid student ID as well as for children 17 and under for all Herb Strauss Theater performances. Series sampler subscriptions, special discount packages and individual tickets for 2013-2014 season are on sale now. Groups of ten or more may also be eligible for additional discounts. New discounts for BIG ARTS’ 35th anniversary season include A Welcome Back Snow Birds Special with an extra 10% off select BIG ARTS and Herb Strauss Theater packages and individual tickets.
