ARTIS—NAPLES WELCOMES FELLOW NONPROFITS
Naples, FL – As part of its commitment to the community, Artis—Naples announces a new initiative offering free facility rentals to selected area nonprofits. As another example of the deep commitment to the community, this new program offers a handful of nonprofit organizations the opportunity to host events on the Artis—Naples cultural campus. Interested organizations completed an application process earlier this year to be considered for the program.
The following organizations were selected:
- Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida - October 1, 2013 - Celebration of Women & Girls
- Boys and Girls Club - March 24, 2014 - Youth of the Year Celebration
- Naples Alliance for Children - April 7, 2014 - Annual Celebration Dinner
- Jewish Community and Family Services - January 14, 2o14 - Annual Fundraiser & Reception
Artis—Naples CEO and President Kathleen van Bergen explained, “Our cultural campus hosts a variety of concerts, events and exhibitions annually. Our spaces are an extension of our community, and this program is a way to support the quality work of so many nonprofits organizations who exist to serve and enhance our growing and diversifying population. In 2011, we launched our partnership program that has seen us collaborating on our stages with Opera Naples, Gulfshore Playhouse, ArtsNaples World Festival and Imagine Solutions, among others. This new initiative deepens our commitment to the community by offering free rental space to local non-profits. It is our pleasure to host these deserving organizations and serve as a gathering space for special celebrations.”
Details on next year’s free community rental program will be announced next spring. For more information about hosting an event on campus visit artisnaples.org/visit/event-planning.
