TheatreZone adds two matinees to accomodate ticket demand

TheatreZone opens Season 9 with
"Whistle Down the Wind,"
which runs Jan. 9-19 2014.
TheatreZone announced last week that it had added performances of "Whistle Down the Wind" and "High Society" to meet the strong demand from patrons for its upcoming season.

Both shows have already sold out multiple performances, TheatreZone's artistic director Mark Danni said in a news release. (Seriously, don't wait to get tickets - grab them now!)

"Whistle Down the Wind" adds a matinee at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18. "High Society" adds a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday, February 15.

TheatreZone Adds Performances

Two matinees added to accommodate sell-out Season 9



Naples, FL: (November 15, 2013) . . .TheatreZone Artistic Director Mark Danni today announced the addition of two performances: a Saturday matinee of the production of Whistle Down the Wind on January 18th at 2 pm, and a Saturday matinee of the production of High Society on Saturday, February 15th, 2014 at 2 pm.
 “Thanks to the overwhelmingly positive ticket sales to our upcoming Season 9 “Year of the Composers” schedule, both Whistle Down the Wind and High Society already have sold out several performances,” explains Danni. “To accommodate our theatre patrons’ needs, we have added two new Saturday matinee performances.”
Whistle Down the Wind, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is based upon the novel by Mary Hayley Bell that follows the fortunes of a fugitive caught between the prejudice of adults and the innocence of the young.
High Society, with book by Arthur Kopit and music and lyrics by the legendary Cole Porter, is based upon the play “The Philadelphia Story” by Phillip Barry, revolving around the imminent wedding of a socialite whose ex-husband arrives with mischief planned to get the attention of the woman he still loves.
